Md7 Land Use Project Manager, Sean Maddox<\/a> and Md7 General Counsel, Lynn Whitcher both serve on the California Wireless Association<\/a> (CalWA) Board of Directors. Sean serves as Director and Lynn serves as Director and Board Secretary. Additionally, they have both have active roles in the CalWA Regulatory Committee and the Education Committee. As part of CalWA\u2019s Education Committee efforts, Sean and Lynn have helped CalWA in the formation of a new committee focused on telecom construction and safety.<\/p>\n

\u201cMd7 offers Construction and Construction Management as part of our turnkey site development services<\/a>. Safety is obviously an important part of that. We are excited to be part of the industry\u2019s efforts to ensure our workers are safe,\u201d said Lynn Whitcher.<\/p>\n

CalWA\u2019s new safety initiative could not come at a better time. The industry has seen a welcome focus on tower construction safety and best practices. CalWA joins other industry groups such as The Telecommunications Industry Registered Apprenticeship Program<\/a> (\u201cTIRAP\u201d), a joint venture of telecommunications companies, industry associations and the U.S. Department of Labor, and the National Association of Tower Erectors<\/a> (NATE) in developing helpful educational materials and safety videos.<\/p>\n
