MD7 Joins Digital Bridge, Zayo and Houlihan Lokey on MWC Las Vegas Tower & Fiber Forum Sept. 28

MWC Las Vegas Infrastructure Roundtable to Address the Future of Digital Infrastructure

Las Vegas – Four digital infrastructure experts will participate in the Mobile World Congress Las Vegas Tower & Fiber Roundtable Discussion on September 28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The panel is comprised of company representatives from MD7, Digital Bridge, Zayo and Houlihan Lokey, and was formed by the GSMA Mobile World Congress administrators to facilitate discussion around the urgency of planning and building digital infrastructure rapidly and thoughtfully during this pivotal point in time. This is the third tower and fiber topic discussion hosted by GSMA. The first was held at MWC Barcelona earlier this year. The assigned topics and speakers for MWC Las Vegas Tower & Fiber Roundtable include:

  • Managing the underlying real assets (leases/contracts/data) for the 5G era – MD7 Chief Strategy Officer Tom Leddo
  • Overview of digital infrastructure – Digital Bridge Managing Director Jonathan Adelstein
  • New cell site rollout/overview of scale, macro vs small cells, operator OPEX plans – Houlihan Lokey Managing Director Jesse Nichols
  • Overview on fiber, including rural fiber, and government funding – Zayo VP of Project Management Chaz Kramer

As more and more cell sites are required, we must get the foundation of the lease agreements in advanced digital form so we can manage them proactively, and get ever-increasing property costs under control,” MD7 Chief Strategy Officer Tom Leddo said. “MD7 has worked with over 60 operators across North America and Europe, and we see a constant need to manage the underlying real property that houses their networks proactively. It’s becoming more and more urgent, as 5G requires hundreds of thousands of new cell sites.”

The Tower & Fiber Roundtable will be held on Wednesday, September 28 at 2:30 p.m. Pacific Time at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Each speaker/panelist will answer questions from the roundtable of approximately 18 MWC Las Vegas attendees. Registration is open to all interested individuals and companies https://www.gsma.com/membership/gsma_events/tower-fibre-forum-round-table-mwc-las-vegas/

This is a fantastic honor to be collaborating with so many experts in digital infrastructure and to contribute insights and information with the common goal of bringing advanced connectivity to the world,” Leddo said.
