Allen, Texas – May 16, 2022 – Connect (X) is back and live May 23-26 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Join MD7 General Counsel Lynn Whitcher for her panel discussions: The Great Reignition: Returning to the Modern Workplace on May 24 at 1:30 p.m., and Harnessing the Power of your Workforce on May 25 at 3 p.m. MD7 President of International Mark Christenson will be speaking on The Greening of the Infrastructure Business on May 25 at 9:15 a.m.

MD7 core values include respect for the individual, continuous improvement, integrity, and extreme service. When we are doing these well, they navigate us through social, governance, compliance, diversity and inclusion, and many of the factors that clients and employees look for,” MD7 General Counsel Lynn Whitcher says. Lynn adds that workforce development is a passion of hers and is thrilled to be speaking on the human resources related panels.

This year will be the third consecutive year that MD7 achieves their carbon neutral certification in Europe. MD7, a wireless infrastructure consultancy with its North American headquarters in Allen, Texas, and international headquarters in Dublin, has been re-certified as a climate-neutral company by Climate Partner. MD7 reduced their CO2 footprint in Europe despite increasing their number of employees.

Reducing our carbon emissions across all of our offices despite growing really fast is a massive achievement,” said MD7 President of International Mark Christenson. “It also makes me happy to see our office in Düsseldorf move to green energy, making it the second, after Maastricht, to be run by green electricity.” Mark adds that MD7 switched its power provider in Dublin to make it their third office in Europe to be fully run by green electricity.

Hear more insights from Mark at Connect (X) Greening of the Infrastructure Business panel, such as how MD7 plans to reduce its CO2 emissions per full-time employee by 10 percent year-on-year until 2025 compared to 2019, as it works to also achieve its carbon-neutral certification in the United States.

Connect (X) brings together the telecommunications industry to network solutions, showcase innovative technology, and discuss infrastructures that are driving the future of communication. Approximately 3,000 company representatives and 50 topic panels are offered across the Connect (X), three-day expo. Connect (X) is powered by the Wireless Infrastructure Association (WIA), the voice of the telecommunications network infrastructure community, representing wireless carriers, infrastructure providers, and professional services firms that collectively own and operate telecommunications facilities around the globe.
