MD7 Reinforces Securing Clients’ Data as Highest Priority

Digital Infrastructure Consultancy Maintains the Most Respected ISMS Standard Achievable

ALLEN, Texas – October 19, 2022— MD7, a digital infrastructure consultancy, announces its renewal of ISO 27001:2013 certification, the international standard for managing data and cyber security. At the same time, the company renewed its 9001:2015 certification for quality and internal processes and controls. MD7 adheres to these international standards for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an ISMS (information security management system) – helping to ensure the organization’s information assets are as secure as possible.

Achieving these certifications demonstrates MD7’s commitment to securing our customers’ data and to keeping our processes streamlined yet comprehensive, and guarded,” MD7 Chief Technology Officer Scott Belie said.

Now more than ever it’s imperative that our customers’ data is emphatically protected. We will never take for granted the value of the information we hold,” MD7 President International Mark Christenson said. “Many of our digital infrastructure clients will not work with companies unless they have the 9001:2015 certification, and we understand their concerns.

The ISO certifications evaluate the processes MD7 uses to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details, and information entrusted by third parties. MD7’s digital infrastructure customers, including mobile network operators and EV charging companies, prompted them to become ISO 9001:2015 certified a few years ago by adopting policies that require all vendors and partners to become certified.

At MD7 continuous improvement is one of our core values. Completing this certification is just one of the ways we are improving our security footprint,” Belie said. “It is an honor that our digital infrastructure clients trust us with their information, and we will not let them down.”

About ISO 27001:2013

ISO 27001:2013 is an international standard that helps organizations manage the security of their information assets.
