Description

Position Summary:

Administration of all aspects of the zoning & permitting process flow related to our Client sites; assist Md7 Land Use team by preparing and sending applications and preliminary documentation to jurisdictions for Client Site Modification projects; manage zoning & permitting documents related to zoning & permit packages including phone calls to the jurisdictions for package deficiencies and other status updates; initiate daily FedEx, certified and standard mailers and corresponding tracking reports; scan, title, and upload documents; navigate Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and jurisdictional websites; create and maintain database systems to support and supplement processing of all Client sites; create, maintain and distribute zoning & permitting department reports

Essential Job Functions:

  • 50% Prepare and send applications and preliminary documentation to jurisdictions for Client Site Modification projects
  • 20% Manage zoning & permitting documents related to zoning & permit packages including phone calls to the jurisdictions for package deficiencies and other status updates
  • 10% Initiate daily FedEx, certified and standard mailers and corresponding tracking reports
  • 5% Scan, title, and upload documents
  • 5% Navigate Geographic Information System (GIS) maps and jurisdictional websites
  • 10% Create and maintain database systems to support and supplement processing of all Client sites

Other Job Functions:

Create, maintain and distribute zoning & permitting department reports

Qualifications

Education Required:

Associate degree is required or equivalent years of work experience; Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Experience Required:

  • Hands-on proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; typing skills of at least 30-50 wpm
  • Experience working with real property leases, easements, zoning & permitting documents is preferred
