Construction Manager

 Job Summary:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for effectively managing multiple site development construction projects, including but not limited to new power infrastructure site design, modifications, and utility projects. The Construction Manager will work closely with an MD7 Project Manager to ensure success for each site, including performing site walks of completed work with general contractors and landlords and communicating with clients and attending regular in-person meetings. Additionally, the Construction Manager will manage and coordinate all phases of a site development and design process and work with site acquisition/zoning staff, legal counsel, utilities, and general contractors.

Major goals and responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all phases of site development and design process
• Perform site inspections and walks with general contractors and landlords
• Review and collaborate on construction drawings

Essential activities:

• Communicate with clients, site acquisition, zoning, legal counsel, utilities, public officials, and general contractors
• Maintain tracking reports and perform site inspections of completed work
• Complete SAQ fielding/site walks for SCIPS and design deliverables
• Complete BOM’s and other material requisitions

Skills

1. Excellent communication (written and oral)
2. Ability to prioritize and be self-motivated with minimal supervision.
3. Extreme attention to detail
4. Problem solving and managing priorities
5. Basic computer skills with Outlook, Excel and Word are required.

Experience

1. College degree preferred
2. Two years in wireless telecommunications construction preferred
3. Previous experience in developing, designing, adjusting, managing site construction processes required
4. Previous experience with software systems that track site readiness status
5. Experience with reading, redlining architectural drawings required

Pay Range	Starting at $85,000/year; Commensurate with Experience
