Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for researching and developing leads for the North America team and securing new business for the company. This position expects significant travel and considerable interaction with wireless infrastructure providers. The BD Manager is expected to generate leads, develop sales materials, schedule meetings, collaborate with internal and external teams, and develop winning proposals to penetrate new markets as well as new services to existing clients. Strong candidates will have ample experience with complex services, sales process, as well as adequate Mobile industry knowledge including the cell site real estate leasing lifecycle, site development, and associated requirements.

 

Major goals and responsibilities

  • Source leads for potential business
  • Produce Sales Materials
  • Build and maintain client relations
  • Develop winning strategies and proposals to secure new business

Essential activities

  • Client Relations: Developing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients. Researching connections and making initial contact with potential clients. Networking to find, create, and grow new business.
  • Create Sales Materials: Drafting complex proposals and responding to RFP/RFQ from potential clients. Creating new content for sales materials and other company platforms (website, blog, social media, etc.)
  • Project Tracking: Maintaining database of potential and existing clients for continued Business Development team pursuit.
  • Cross Department Collaboration: Work with internal Operations team to ensure client satisfaction and advocate for customer as appropriate.
  • Cross Sales: Identifying new lines of business with new and existing customers.
  • Close Deals: Maintaining appropriate levels of sales metrics as outlined by team goals.

    1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales position

    3. Strong technical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    4. Experience overseeing sales cycle process

Additional information

 Pay Range

  $80,000 – $100,000 annual salary
  + Bonuses and Commissions

          Commensurate with experience
