Michael Gianni serves as the Chairman and CEO of Md7, a pioneer company in real estate asset management for the wireless industry.  Prior to founding Md7, Michael served as CEO of Gianni & Associates, a $20-million wireless infrastructure development company.  Michael has over 18 years of experience in all aspects of domestic and international wireless infrastructure development.  His experience dates back to 1985, when he worked summers building cell sites for PacTel Cellular’s analog deployment (now Verizon Wireless) during college breaks. Michael received his B.S. in Business Administration / Real Estate Finance from San Diego State University. He resides in London with his wife and three sons.

As President and General Counsel, Mike Fraunces has represented Md7 since its inception. Prior to Md7, Mike was a corporate transactional lawyer, practicing in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, licensing and general corporate matters, both as a partner at the international law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, and as a partner and associate attorney at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP.

Mike earned his business degree from the University of California, Berkeley and law degree from Yale Law School. After Berkeley, he served five years as an officer on a nuclear submarine in the United States Navy. Mike resides in San Diego with his wife and son.

Chris bought COMPS InfoSystems, Inc., a commercial real estate information company, in 1992. He raised four rounds of venture financing, took the company public and sold it in 2000. The year prior to the sale, Chris won the U.S.A. Today / Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in San Diego. Chris studied at the University of Vienna and received his B.S. in Finance summa cum laude from Boston College and his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. He and his wife, Jane, have one son and live in Fairbanks Ranch, California.

Neil is a co-managing partner for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. He has experience in the areas of operations, mergers and acquisitions and private equity. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2001, Neil worked with the private equity groups of Brentwood Associates and Olympus Partners. Prior to that, he worked with the mergers and acquisitions group of J.P. Morgan Securities.

Neil is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in Finance from Wharton and a B.A.S. with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, magna cum laude.

Krishnan is a co-managing partner for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. He has experience in operations, management consulting and private equity. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2001, Krishnan worked with Thomas Weisel Venture Partners. Prior to that, he worked with Trust Company of the West, McKinsey & Company and Merrill Lynch.

Krishnan is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and Princeton University, where he received a B.S. in Engineering and Computer Science, with honors.


Md7’s five-member Board guides and directs the management team using its substantial industry knowledge and long business, legal and financial experience.
